Kendriya Vidyalaya ,Gole Market is a co-educational school established in January 1970 by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan sponsored by the ministry of Education and social welfare with the object of providing educational facilities to the children of defence personnel and employees of autonomous bodies who are liable to be transferred from one state to another .
The school embodies some good features of public schools with emphasis on Indian culture and values,all round development, striving for excellence in every field of learning without raising the cost of education.
It is ideally located in Central Delhi , behind R.M.L. Hospital. It is a four storeyed building, with verdant environs, spread over an extensive area of 6.12 acres. The school runs in two shifts .
In the past thirty nine years, the school has attained complete maturity displaying its best to the world. Many gems of this institution have illuminated the powerful galaxies of society. Over the years, countless number of IITians, engineers, doctors, bureaucrats, academicians, MBA etc. of this K.V. have carved a niche for themselves and are rendering yeoman services to the society.
The school is proud of its performances like National Science Exhibition , National Social Science Exhibition, National Sports Meet ,first batch of KVS to have performed on Rajpath on 26th January 1997,Regional Science Exhibition , regional Social Science Exhibition, Regional Youth Parliament And Many more .

Kendriya Vidyalaya A.M.C. Lucknow is one of the pioneer vidyalayas of
the country. Starting in 1944, the school was recognized as Junior High
School in 1951. When the scheme of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan
Ministry of Education, now H.R.D. Ministry. The Objective was to meet
educational needs of transferable defence personnels through uniform
syllabi, common text books and medium of instruction for Senior
Secondary School Examination C.B.S.E. New Delhi. Kendriya Vidyalaya
Sangathan has elevated the Status of K.V.A.M.C. as a Model School in the
year 1999-2000. It has again been bestowed with the honour of Smart
School in 2000-2001.
It is very beautiful school in Lucknow region and one of the biggest in the region. I am proud to be the member of this vidyalaya. The school will be celebrate golden Jublee celebration of KVS in the session 2012-13.

The Vidyalaya offers Science, Commerce and Humanities Streams at +2 level with a number of optional subjects as per KVS and CBSE guidelines giving an opportunity to the students to opt for their choice of subjects.
